Tresmano is “A superb newcomer in Ribera del Duero” according to Jancis Robinson. Located in the heart of the Golden Mile, the winery draws from the oldest vineyards in the region (40 years old to some even over 80 years). This allows head winemaker Pedro Aibar to create wines that are complex, intense, yet very balanced and elegant, perfect with any fine cuisine.

Pedro Aibar has been a key figure in the development of Spanish wine over the last four decades. In 2013, he co-founded Tresmano with Fernando Remirez de Ganuza, who obtained international recognition for creating the first Spanish wine awarded with 100 points by Robert Parker (Reserva 2004), and wine expert José Ramón Ruiz who leads La Europea, the largest supplier of fine wine in Mexico.

Situated on top of a hill with a history spanning an impressive twenty-five centuries, and next to the region’s most prestigious vineyards (Vega Sicilia, etc), Tresmano’s state-of-the-art winery incorporates the latest technology of modern oenology while still holding deep reverence for tradition.

Some of Tresmano’s vines have been standing for over 80 years, while others range between 40 to 80 years old. The average age of approximately 50 years makes Tresmano’s vineyards the oldest in the Ribera del Duero region. Embracing sustainable viticultural practices, Tresmano’s vineyards are in the process of being certified organic.

Tresmano 2019 and Tm 2016 are imported into the US. Both are made from 100% Tempranillo, locally known as Tinta del Pais. The winery employs various eco-friendly techniques, including the use of gravity, thermal insulation, natural ventilation and solar energy. The dedication to quality over quantity is evident: Only about 50,000 bottles are produced per year.
